With the potential release of "Chinese Democracy", Rose hopes to eliminate the past band that still shroud him today.

Keyboard player Dizzy Reed has been in GN'R since 1991, vowing to stick by Axl no matter what. With the new band Dizzy says he feels "more comfortable".

In 1996/7 when Axl was using session musicians, he enlisted Robin Finck. The charasmatic enigma of Nine Inch Nails at the time, Robin actively sought out a different style that he brought to GnR, especially in "Oh My God"

And Chris Pittman, who is a nobody from the Live Era days

Many musicians have been in this incarnation, including Buckethead (who plays the Nightrain solo fantastically) and Paul Tobias, Axl's old buddy, who played guitar on "Sympathy For The Devil".....
